Senior Healthcare Specialist

We are currently seeking a clinician with extensive experience in post-acute care for a position of Senior Healthcare Specialist, reporting to VP, Provider Services. This role provides support to internal teams and external clients through educational offerings, sales/account support, data analysis, regulatory review, and subject matter expertise.

Specific Job Functions:

  • Author content, training webinars, presentations to support Marketing, Business Development and Account Management activities
  • Provide product demonstration and support with current clients and prospects
  • Provide subject matter expertise to Product Development and other cross functional teams
  • Partner with Account Executives on qualified client accounts to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Provide insight and updates on regulations that impact the post-acute care industry
  • Assist clients with utilization and integration of PointRight solutions into individual and enterprise operations
  • Participate in quality assurance projects (i.e., testing of new products and enhancements of existing solutions)
  • Attend conferences, trade shows, and other gatherings as needed to further team and organizational goals
  • Provide analysis of data at individual center and enterprise level to create insight and action steps for client quality improvement initiatives as part of ACOs, networks or other groups
  • Create meaningful feedback tests and alerts for the Data Integrity Audit solution and respond to Helpdesk questions as needed
  • Create and devise ways to increase PointRight visibility in strategic markets


Requirements Include:

  • Registered Nurse with 10+ years’ experience in post-acute care
  • Advanced degree in health care or related field
  • Experience with Alternative Payment Models like ACOs or Health plans preferred
  • Excellent communication skills, including writing and public speaking
  • Solid understanding of LTC survey process, reimbursement and the RAI process
  • Travel approximately 20% of the time
  • Ability to collaborate professionally with cross functional groups, prioritize competing assignments and successfully execute team and company plans
  • Consulting experience preferred
  • Solid computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft software
  • Able to review data, identify trends and provide insights to clients
