POSITION: Sales Associate (Healthcare)

Due to our continued growth we are seeking an experienced Sales Associate to join our team. Working closely with the Director of Business Development, the Sales Associate will assist in an array of sales-related functions including: identifying new LTC facility sales prospects, conducting outreach calls, writing proposals, tracking the sales process, creating sales presentations and fostering ongoing relationships with key partners. 
 

Primary Responsibilities

  • Identify key staff from industry state associations and work with PointRight colleagues to develop and sell data-focused services to meet member facility’s needs
  • Research sales leads, manage sales pipeline and build relationships with facility prospects
  • Assist in preparing materials for sales calls, online demonstrations and presentations
  • Maintain exceptionally high performance standards
  • Some client and tradeshow travel required (under 20%).
  • General administrative duties as required 

Required Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years related experience
  • Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to sell
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting, tracking and managing sales activities
  • Broad business thinker; understands the role of Sales in the overall business strategy and the application of PointRight products and services to the target customer's business
  • Capacity to manage multiple priorities and overlapping deadlines
  • Strong computer skills: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, required; CRM tool experience strongly preferred (ACT!, Salesforce or Goldmine), Database management experience a plus
  • Familiar with Long Term Care and local healthcare industry strongly preferred
  • Enthusiastic, self-motivated, confident, strategic thinker
