AHCA, in conjunction with the Alliance for Quality Nursing Home Care (Alliance) has released the sector’s first comprehensive report outlining quality trends in the nation’s nursing homes, the positive evolution of nursing and rehabilitation facilities and the subsequent benefit to cost-effective seniors’ care, consumer and workforce satisfaction results, and other key quantifiable measures of quality.
They engaged experts in quality and nursing facility care to critically assess data and trend to provide an unbiased objective view of Quality since they began Quality First in 2002. The final report also features an academic white paper entitled "Changes in the Quality of Nursing Homes in the US: A Review and Data Update" by Vince Mor, PhD and his fellow PointRight colleagues, Steven Littlehale, Cheryl Caswell, Jane Niemi and Barry Fogel.
